Overview
Intelligent Waves, a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Fed/DoD Contractor, has an immediate need for a Sr. Android OS Development Engineer to join The Hypori VMI development team in Austin, TX
Hypori is a class-leading Virtual Mobile Infrastructure platform that delivers a managed and Secure environment to power critical Mobility / BYOD programs. You can learn more about The Hypori product at: https://hypori.com/
The Sr. Android Development Engineer will participate in the development of the Hypori
Android Virtual Device through an agile development workflow.
Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities

Participate in the complete software development process, including troubleshooting, design
ing

coding.

Maintain and communicate status in
Jira
and in daily standups
.

Reconcile product requirements with an understanding of Android internals.

Port
the
Android
Virtual Device
to newer versions of the Android platform.

Enhance
the
Android
Virtual Device
to take advantage of new capabilities.

Develop modifications to QEMU that communicate with and support components in the Android
Virtual Device
Qualifications
Qualifications
10+ years
developing
software.
Substantial experience constructing new architecture-level mechanisms from whole cloth.
Fluency in Java
,
C, C++.
5+ years in a Linux environment, including some kernel development.
Understanding of the QEMU hypervisor.
Strong understanding of git version control.
Authorized to work in the USA.
